Windows 10: Off topic: possible to reboot/ format toy camera..?

Hello!

Sorry for not asking a Win10- question, but im confused about this:

I have a 13 year old simple camera called "AirCamOne", its supposed to be strapped on RC airplanes:

I wanted to give it a try again, but it will not work... Battery is (surprisingly) fresh at 4,15 volt, I can make a few picture with the built in memory, but when I insert the SD- card, the camera shuts down with a beep...

When I insert the USB- camera in my PC, I can see the picture files in the last folder:
ICATCH V (F --> DCIM --> 100MEDIA

When I insert the camera with the SD- card inside, I get an error message on PC: "one of the drives doesn't work", and the camera does not pop up in the file explorer.

I did format the SD- card with no different results. What could the problem be, and what to do?

Would it be possible to format the F: drive or will that delete all drivers completely and make the camera useless? Drivers are not available online any longer.

How To Format A Write Protected Flash Memory ?

Run CMD


1. diskpart
2. list disk

Then in the 3º step, put the correct number of disk in the list for the usb flash (if it's listed in disk 3, then you'll have to write select disk 3).

2. select disk #
3. clean
4. create partition primary
5. select partition 1
6. active
7. format fs=fat32
8. assign
9. exit

with that commands you will format the flash drive in fat32, if you have a large drive you can select also "format fs=ntfs" in step 7.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

Changing Time Format

There's a possibility that the set up time format in your computer Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) is military time. To have this checked, you can try to reset the time of your computer through Control Panel. See the steps below on how to do
so:

• Open Control Panel > Clock, Language, and Region >
  Change date, time, or number formats. This would open the
  Region window.
• From there, click on Additional settings at the bottom part. It will open the Customize Format.
• Click Reset; then, OK.

The steps should work; however, if not, we suggest that you contact manufacturer and have the BIOS time checked.
