    Understood. Pity you had to fork out money to solve the problem.

    I have now updated two computers to Ver 1709 and they are both fine with their Office 2007's.

    I am very glad to be able to avoid Office 2016. I used its Preview version & then a trial version. Both Outlook & Access had some very annoying characteristics.

    Strange it works for some and not others

    I’ve been using Office 2007 with no problems updating or anything else

    But I’m on the insiders build 16299 if that makes a difference

    @denisGood thoughts - thanks. *BiggrinActually, having set it the way I like it O2016 is (IMO) great! . And at £8 for a "Click to run" version, is not too much dosh!
