Windows 10: Office 2007 on win 10

Is it possible to install and run Microsoft Office 2007 on win 10 without any virtual software?

how to make office 2007 backup to prepare for refresh of win 10

I would not be upgrading the OS. The steps would be:

1. backup office 2007

2. refresh or restart windows 10 from the MS license site ( I originally had Win 7 and upgraded to win 10 electronically and my license key is stored at microsoft site.

3. install all the software that was removed by the refresh/restart.

Since my office 2007 works on win 10 now, I doubt it would mysteriously stop working just because I'm reinstalling.

Does someone know how to make a backup of my legally installed Office 2007? (I have the original license key) I do not have the install media and Microsoft does not allowed a download because Office 2007 is End of Life.

The bit about the upgrade is irrelevant. Once Office is gone, it must be reinstalled from standard installation media--you can't back it up and restore it. Office 365 is available for a low monthly subscription price, less than $10. You can also use the
free Libre Office suite that will open, read and create MS Office files.
