Windows 10: Office 2007 updates

Discus and support Office 2007 updates in Microsoft Office and 365 to solve the problem; I keep seeing that all support for Office 2007 was supposed to end in October, 2017.     Windows Installer broken, unable to install office/defender updates, any way to fix it?

    I'm getting error 0x8007006e on the following updates in Windows Update as well and nothing online has been able to help me so far either. Here are the updates I'm having issues with.

    • Security Update for Microsoft Office 2007 suites (KB2825645) - Error 0x8007006e

    • Security Update for Microsoft Office 2007 suites (KB2837610) - Error 0x8007006e

    • Security Update for Microsoft Office 2007 suites (KB3054888) - Error 0x8007006e

    • Security Update for Microsoft Office 2007 suites (KB3054890) - Error 0x8007006e

    • Security Update for Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack Service Pack 3 (KB2986254) - Error 0x8007006e

    Installed Update History

    Don't worry about the the Office 2007 update. The uninstall of 2007 left remnants in the registry leading Windows Update to think it's still installed. Don't worry about it.
