Discus and support Office 2016 cant install proofing tools. Please help in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; I have MS office 2016 64x and I downloaded proofing tools for Latvian and Russian languages also x64.     Office 2016 cant install proofing tools. Please help


    I have MS office 2016 64x and I downloaded proofing tools for Latvian and Russian languages also x64. When I try to install them I get this message - Mistake! A compatible version of Microsoft Office is required to install additional proofing tools.

    How can I fix this? I googled this for many times, but I can't find a solution.

    Please Help Office 2016 Update Not Working


    I would suggest you do a repair to the Office 2016 installation. This is easily achieved by going into Programs and Features (right click on the start button); select the Office 2016 entry and click on Change. You will then be given the option to repair your installation.

    in order to provide you with the most helpful and relevant information could you please provide a bit more detail? When you say proofing tools are not installed, which tools exactly are you looking for? are these tools within an office program such as Microsoft
    Word, or are these tools that you are expecting within Windows itself?
