Windows 10: Office 365 and Cortana

Issues:

Outlook

-Excessive amount of time 45-60 seconds to acquire new email

-Emails delivered are often duplicates or even triplicates

-Folder completely vanished without being accessed

-Unable to send a reply as a message appears, 'unable to send as email has changed'


Excel

-Opens spreadsheets in totally random sizes - ranging from postage stamp to full screen


Google

-same as excel, opens completely with random sizes


Cortana-Completely missing regardless of re-installing


Search Box-Does not search web, only what is on the PC


I have run several different antivirus software programs. Never have more than one installed and have purchased 3 well respected programs. I've also run MS versions. Nothing discovered. I have run 'chkdsk c:/r' and too numerous to count other suggested fixes, all have failed.


The above issues are with one User Account, the Administrator account. There are 2 other accounts on the same PC that don't have any issues.


I have written MS asking for some level of support and not one request has been acknowledged let alone answered.

Cortana & Office 365 Integration

We are trying to integrate Cortana with our Office 365 subscription, but it never works. Here are the steps we have done:

• Turned on Cortona in the Office 365 Admin portal
• We are using Windows 10 1703 – connected Office 365 service to Cortana

Did the same on windows 10 mobile with no luck, Cortana says its connected to Office 365, but sees no data and we are getting zero errors

We went rough office 365 support first and tried all fo their suggestions, they kicked us over to Windows support which is currently closed.

We are on v1703 with all updates in place, it does not work on Windows 10 desktop or mobile

any ideas? I can give you all steps 365 support had us run through if that will be helpful

Office 365 Cortana

Cortana on Windows 10 Mobile asks me to connect my Office 365 account. I do not have one (nor do I have a Dynamics CRM account). I did have a work account and my credentials appear to still be cached.

How do I:

• Disable Cortana's request to connect to the non-existent Work or School account?
• Clear those credentials, so they are no longer on my phone - or anywhere else, for that matter?

 

Cortana + Office 365 HOME or Personal

Have read lots of opinions, could I get a definitive answer? I have windows 10 touch screen HP Envy with Cortana. I bought a subscription for Office 365 HOME or Personal. CAN I use Cortana to update etc my Personal Office 365 Calendar? to track deliveries
that come in Mail notifications? etc. In other words has Cortana been integrated with Office 365 HOME yet; if so in exactly what ways? Is there a specific article about using Cortana with Office PERSONAL 365?

I have read that to date Cortana is ONLY integrated with 'Office 365 BUSINESS' account; if so, that is very inconvenient for the Home user. Can someone confirm that OR explain how I can use Cortana with 365 Home account? Thanks, Kath
