Windows 10: Office 365 and OneDrive files sharing

    Office 365 and OneDrive files sharing


    Hi,

    Like my profile say I'm not an Windows user please don't throw rock at me Office 365 and OneDrive files sharing :p I just grow up with Apple computer ^^

    I recently merge my company with an other one.

    We are Apple base with iCloud
    Them are Windows base with Office 365

    The work is done, we use each platform of ours choice and it's cool that way with eMail and Trello.
    But we are tired of using WeTransfer and eMail to share clients folder and they need to carefully put the right version back on the right folder. They are the main, we are an annex.

    1. They pay for Office 365 and the Main folder is on the OneDrive (A)
    2. I create an OneDrive (B) free account.
    3. They share the Main folder (A) to my OneDrive (B) via eMail
    4. When I click the link, the browser open and I can download the stuff but that it
    5. I didnt see the shared folder on my OneDrive (B) browser version or app version

    So, is there something we don't understand or don't do correctly ?
    It is because I have a free OneDrive account?

    I dont really want to cross over to the Windows platform or pay for 2 cloud services

    OneDrive-Set expiry time for shared file?

    Setting an expiry date for shared files in OneDrive is a feature available in Office 365 Home and Personal subscriptions which both include Premium OneDrive features:

    OneDrive sharing help

    Hi TPU,

    one of my customers at work want to share a folder on his OneDrive for business with a external user, normal sharing lasts 7days, is it possible to get like a permanent login solution?

    I tried a few guides, problem is Microsoft Translation to Danish doesn't help and if I change language online on his Office 365 the settings language in OneDrive don't change and yes using Internet Explorer just to rule that out.

    So if anyone got a easy guide I would be happy, bcs I don't want my customer to call or write me a email every week that his external user needs access.
