    The problem occurs on all Office 365 Apps when users log into their session from powered off pc, as everyone do at the beginning of a work day.It occurs on apps which are connected to a work account via the feature located on Windows in "Parameters>Accounts>Access work or school"Its probably not related to Wi-fi or Ethernet connection as long as i can easily surf through the web when it occursIt only affects O365 ecosystem For example :On Teams, the app will launch and open but you won't be able to change status no matter on what kind of state you're clicking and the bead that shows

  2. Cortana & Office 365 Integration

    We are trying to integrate Cortana with our Office 365 subscription, but it never works. Here are the steps we have done:



    • Turned on Cortona in the Office 365 Admin portal
    • We are using Windows 10 1703 – connected Office 365 service to Cortana
    Did the same on windows 10 mobile with no luck, Cortana says its connected to Office 365, but sees no data and we are getting zero errors

    We went rough office 365 support first and tried all fo their suggestions, they kicked us over to Windows support which is currently closed.

    We are on v1703 with all updates in place, it does not work on Windows 10 desktop or mobile

    any ideas? I can give you all steps 365 support had us run through if that will be helpful

  3. Office 365 activation error after big Win 10 update

    We appreciate your response, Keith. We suggest that you update Office 365 and see if it'll make a difference. You can simply do it by opening any Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Here are the steps on how to do so:

    • Open Office app, then click on File.
    • Look for Account, then click on Update.
    • Once done, restart your computer.

    The problem occurs on all Office 365 Apps when users log into their session from powered off pc, as everyone do at the beginning of a work day.

    It occurs on apps which are connected to a work account via the feature located on Windows in "Parameters>Accounts>Access work or school"
    Its probably not related to Wi-fi or Ethernet connection as long as i can easily surf through the web when it occurs
    It only affects O365 ecosystem



    For example :

    On Teams, the app will launch and open but you won't be able to change status no matter on what kind of state you're clicking and the bead that shows your status will stay white whatsoever you're trying to do. You won't be able to send/receive messages nor call someone as everyone appears disconnected.

    On Outlook, the app will launch and open but you won't be able to receive/send any mails and if you do some changes (like classifying mails or creating folders) it won't be effective according to what i see on OWA on the same time.

    For Excel, Word and Powerpoint, modifications and edit on files that are not located on the pc won't be savec, and in general any interaction that includes a cloud connection won't work.

    For Edge, sync will be disabled and going on Office.com will ask your credentials.



    For all those issues, they can be fixed at the same time for all of them by :



    1 - Disconnecting the work account from this location in Windows : "Parameters>Accounts>Access work or school"

    2 - Reboot the computer (Not always needed)

    3 - Connecting back the work account



    And voil !

    So to those people who are pure powershell and cmd mastermind :

    Do you have anything shorter than my process which can give me the same result ?
