Windows 10: OFFICE 365 FRAUD EMAIL from HELPDESK <*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>

I got this email you see below. Must have been too tired and I clicked on the link. Then compounded my stupidity when I entered my email and password for my Microsoft account. I KNOW!!! God I've lost several brain cells at 72 but this was truly stupid. When I did not get to see my 7 new emails DUH I wondered what was up. Then I saw the email return address. Yes, it was there right in front of me. Just stupid. Anyway, I checked the host and it came up with an Italian website that when I translated it -- looked legit.


BUT the email address spoofed? did not come from MS Office!

Yeah, I had to change my password. And added 2 factor id.

Why has *** Email address is removed for privacy *** appeared at the top of my email address list?

This has taken over from my other email address and I may have sent emails to engage windows instead of my personal email address, because engage windows has suddenly appeared at the top of my address list.

Why has this list changed anyway?

Suspicious email from "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***"

Received email with subject line "Please Open: We're announcing updates to Office 365" from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and was immediately suspicious. ASKING me to "Please open"? That in itself is a warning to my thinking.

I've seen references to "click.office.com" being a phishing tag, and "email.office.com" is suspiciously close to that. Even IF from MS it's probably an advert. I deleted it.
