    Office 365 Word, Excel, Powerpoint stopped launching.


    Windows 11 Microsoft Office 365 Home bought online. Clicking Word, Excel or Powerpoint and they fail to launch. I turned off Mcafee antivirus for 15 minutes, rebooted, to no effect. Windows Update tries but this is the constant error message "There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. this may help: 0x800705b4". I followed the error code but this seems a circular set of instructions. I suspect it will be something simple can some tell me how to fix this? I'm a user not a coder so an idiots guide would be appreciated.

    Office 365 activation error after big Win 10 update

    We appreciate your response, Keith. We suggest that you update Office 365 and see if it'll make a difference. You can simply do it by opening any Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Here are the steps on how to do so:

    • Open Office app, then click on File.
    • Look for Account, then click on Update.
    • Once done, restart your computer.

    I cannot open any of my Office files; Word, Excel, Powerpoint

    I am working in Windows 10 home version 1909.
    Can not afford an upgrade.
    My Office files are old, dont know what version.
    Cant remember how I updated this laptop to Windows 10 months ago.
    PROBLEM:
    I can not open any of my Office files; Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
    I looked for my Windows old file as suggested, and it IS gone.
    Haveing a small breakdown, will step away and return in a few...ANY DIRECTIONS AND ANSWERS WOULD BE GREAT!!!!!! PLEASE WRITE THEM IN STEP BY STEP FORMAT. Thankyooouuuuuuuu!
