    Hello,My window applications automatically resize when the screen is clicked or I am typing for no apparent reason.For example, when I have Microsoft Excel open, if I click a cell to edit it or try to copy and paste a cell, the entire application window will resize to an undesirable size and location. I prefer to work with it in full screen. It appears to be random and the sizes and positions are different each time. Sometimes it will resize to half-screen and relocate to the left. Other times, it will resize to 1/4th the screen and move to the bottom right of the screen. Sometimes it will res

    Resolution Suggestion:

    # To resolve this problem, make sure that BITS and the Automatic Updates service are started..

    A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

    1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

    2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

    3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

    4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

    5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

    6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

    7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

    • Does it happen only on one application?
    • Which application are you having issues resizing or moving?

    In the meantime, we suggest you to run the Windows 10 troubleshooter. Kindly follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key +X, select
      Control panel
    • Change the view by option on the top right to
      Large icons
    • Click on troubleshooting and click on the
      view all option on the left panel
    • Run the Windows Store apps troubleshooter
