Windows 10: Office cannot be opened, error 0xc000012f

Hello dear Forum,

my father has a big problem with his PC.

He can't open Office anymore. With every Office application he executes an error appears directly. I have the error in the appendix, unfortunately only in German. The error code is 0xc000012f. I already used Malewarebytes and Adwcleaner and did a sfc scan (file in the attachment). I don't know what else you need, let me know.

I hope we can fix this bug together. I have access at any time via Teamviewer.

Office 2013 error

Some had the same issue. Try one of those advises:

Error status 0xc000012f

Error Status 0xc000012f is an issue after updating Windows. It is when the image file being used are not in the right format. Having said that, before presenting a resolution can you please answer the following questions:

• When did you first encounter this error code?
• What is the make and model of your computer?
• What were the specific troubleshooting steps you have performed to resolve the issue?
• Have you made any changes on your computer prior to this issue?
