Windows 10: OFFICE error message says this: AppvlsvSubsystems64.dll missing

I cannot run Office but I paid for OFFICE subscription. When I click on any Office icon: WORD, EXCEL, I receive an error message window:SYSTEM ERROR: The program can't start because AppVlsvSubsystems64.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.It does not allow me to reload OFFICE! What can I do? THANK YOU! Jeannie

None of the options worked. I still get the same error message w.hen I try to install the new software. Is there a place I can get AppVlsvSubsystems64.dll and add it to my computer?

AppVlsvSubsystems64.dll keeps disappearing since update

Ever since the "new" Windows 10 update hit I have had to reinstall Office 365 about five or six times. I keep getting an error box that says AppVlsvSubsystems64.dll
is missing. This is becoming quite irritating! Anyone know how to prevent this, or at least a shorter fix?

I had to have a new hard drive installed on my computer which I picked up my laptop yesterday. This morning I reinstalled My Office & now I'm trying to open a Word document. I am getting this WINWORD.EXE -System Error The code execution cannot proceed because
AppVlsvSubsystems64.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem. I did reinstall My Office which didn't fix the problem.

I followed the instructions given to another user. Here are instructions:

b) Click Start, click Run, type MSIEXEC /REGSERVER, and then click OK. Even if you do this correctly, it may look like nothing occurs, or you may briefly see an hourglass. After you run this command, the operation is complete.

I only get as far as step a) no dialog box appear to continue to step b). What am I doing wrong?
