Windows 10: office key unreadable after scratching card

HI folksto whome it may concernif you can help me out i bouth for 190$ a full version office home and student 2o21when i scratched the code off i lost the last 10 characters.Is there a way i can retrieve the code? I got the serial number for the card???ThanksLawrence

I then entered the Product key and it took me to the next screen.



Am I going to have to do this each time I use new app in Office 2013 ? Such as Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher etc ?

Once you have installed Microsoft Office 2013 / 2016 / 2019, you can validate that your license has been activated by following these steps:

1. Open Word
2. Click on File tab
3. Select Account
4. On the right-hand side of the screen, you will see the product activation information

What happens if Microsoft Office is not activated or unlicensed?

I have copies of Office 2019, Office 2010 and Office 2007...

I didn't do it this way. I bought Microsoft Office online and was emailed the Product Key. I was instructed to log in to the website Microsoft 365 and enter the Product Key. I then was able to download the installation file for Microsoft Office.
