    Office subscription land mine


    Microsoft poped a message on my desktop forcing me to update office. Long story short, I had to reinstall office, deleting most of my desktop files, a bunch of applications and locking me out of my office subscription. Is there a way to discuss this with a real person at Microsoft? the only solution I can see now is to repurchase an office license. Not a bad sales strartegy. :-

    Office 365 subscription

    Hi Kim,

    Go to Office 365 Login | Microsoft Office and if you're not already signed in, select Sign in

    On that page under your info, check the status of your subscription to Office 365

    If that checks out, click this link and run through the Office activation troubleshooter:

    If that does not resolve this for you, follow these steps to perform a full repair of your Office installation . . .

    Open Control Panel - Programs and Features

    Click Microsoft Office in the list of installed applications

    At the top, click 'Change'

    On the resulting dialog, click 'Repair' - choose the Online Repair, it is a comprehensive fix

    That should fix any issues with your Office Installation, including activation . . .

    Browser landings are blank

    Thank you Abdul_Malik. The browser is Chrome, the issue is when I open Chrome and search for any subject and it lands on The Search Engine Landing page. The search engine landing page is blank until I hit the reload arrow. So far today it is working properly.
    If it works properly throughout today I will mark this as solved, even though I never figured out why it was doing it.

    Hi OHB

    You mention you cancelled your Office 365 subscription, if that is the case, what Microsoft Office version is installed on your laptop?

    Open Word, go to File - Account, what Microsoft Office licence(s) are listed there?
