Windows 10: Offline Update for Windows Defender Antimalware Server 2016

Can anyone please help me out? I have a standalone network with no outside connectivity, our vulnerability scanner keeps hitting our Server 2016 box with a hit regarding the Antimalware Malware version being outdated.


I need to find a place I can download the full offline update, but all I can find is automated ways to update the engine which obviously won't work for me.


Called Microsoft, they want me to pay $500 to pay for a single support ticket to solve what should be an incredibly simple issue.

Server 2016 - Remove Windows Defender Completely

As part of our security we regulalry run Nessus scans to detect vulnerabilities.

One such vulnerability that I constantly get on 2 of my servers running Windows Server 2016 Datacentre is that Windows Defender/ Malware :

Windows Defender AntiMalware / AntiVirus Signatures are continuously not and should not be more than 1 day old

Description

Windows Defender has an AntiMalware/AntiVirus signature that gets updated continuously. The signature definition has not been updated in more than 1 day.

Solution

Trigger an update manually and/or enable auto-updates.

We use a third party app for AV and Malware and as such the Windows Defender feature is removed completely from both servers. This vulnerability continues to flag on every scan.

Is there anyway to delete the definition files that are being detected in these scans to prevent this from appearing on every scan that is done.

Defender antimalware client update


In Windows 10 version 1709, os build 16299.192, checking for updates shows a new update for the Windows Defender antimalware platform, to version 4.12.17007.18011







Installed without a problem, no restart required. Defender before updating...





After the update...





As with previous antimalware client updates, the update doesn't show in Update History. It can be seen in Reliability History.






Edit: 1st March - another update has been issued, version 4.12.17007.18022. Seems this is to be a regular monthly event.

Windows Defender Offline for Windows 10

Tried this suggestion and it did not work. Tried to boot from USB with Windows Defender Offline transferred from a safe computer. Would not boot from USB. Message "Secure Boot Violation, Invalid Signature Detected, Check secure boot policy in Setup"
Any suggestions on next steps for a Windows 10 compatible version of Windows Defender Offline?
