    Windows 10 10586 issues

    Ever since I got 10586 via Windows Update, I'm having problems. Windows suddenly is not activated anymore, and won't re-activate. I'm also stuck with a ~20GB Windows.old folder I can't seem to get rid of.

    There should be an option in Disk Cleanup where you can delete Windows.old. You can't directly do so in Explorer. Have you tried that?

    I dunno about reactivation? DId you use a 7/8/8.1 key? Have you tried directly entering that key into activation? As of 10586 you can do that.

    IF your hardware was activated before, it will activate again... Just give it some time. 10586 was pulled, kinda, recently, anyway. Running it on 7 rigs of various parts without any problems
