ok, so iv recently reset my windows 10 laptop, and tried to reinstall a program called "network emulator for windows toolkit" wich was working fine before i reset laptop, now no matter what values i use it all does the same, completely shuts off internet until i end the emulator, before i reset i could simulate exactly what i wanted, now all values do the same, i have tried to run in compatibility mode, enabled all windows 10 features, disabled firewall, updated to latest version, and even excluded the program from my firewall, it just wont work correctly like it did before i reset laptop, ple

Laptop Sees Wireless Network but Cannot Connect To It

I have a small ASUS laptop that has recently had issues connecting to the home wifi network. After I type in the wifi password it displays a loading bar and then says Can't Connect to Network. I have tried every fix I could think of: disable/reenable adapter, uninstalling the adapter and reinstalling it, rebooting the laptop, rebooting the router, and troubleshooting the adapter. The laptop is running and Windows 10 and does not have an ethernet port. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I'm online from my wifi laptop but can't connect to my home network

Nope, I've tried all the steps of all the fixes listed by Dalchina and Try3 but the problem still exists. The W10 laptop refuses to access my main W7 pc (named CG16) on my home network, although it can 'see' it, ie, it shows CG16 in the network list.
The only thing I haven't tried is Dalchina's suggestion about creating a shortcut, mainly because I'm not sure where this shortcut is supposed to be. I'm assuming it has to be on the W10 laptop but I don't understand how it could work. More info please, Dalchina, if you'd be so kind.
