Windows 10: Ok to Install 20H2 without 20H1 present?

Discus and support Ok to Install 20H2 without 20H1 present? in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I am running Windows 10 build 1909. I have NOT installed update 20H1 yet.     Ok to Install 20H2 without 20H1 present?


    I am running Windows 10 build 1909.

    I have NOT installed update 20H1 yet.

    Is it ok to go ahead and install 20H2, or am I supposed to manually install 20H1 first?

    My PC is only offering 20H2, with the 20H1 offer disappearing recently.

    I have a Lenovo G50 laptop with Windows 10 Home ver. 1909, OS build 18363.1139, 64-bit OS. For more than 5 months Windows 10 20H1 can not be installed and have the message : "The Windows 10 May 2020 Update is on his way. Once it's ready, you"ll see the update
    available on this page".

    Now, as Windows 10 October 2020 is ready for roll out there are some questions to be asked :

    - why 20H1 is not still available for my laptop ?

    - what shall I do if the system will inform me that 20H2 is available without having 20H1 installed ?

    This is to Users not running Windows Insider Builds❗

    There IS an Insider Track that IS 20H2. HOWEVER, For Regular Windows 10 20H1 (2004/19041.508) this is for YOU...

    There are articles/videos floating about suggesting how to convert a 20H1 into a 20H2. DO NOT do this or use their instructions❗

    WAIT for & until WU gives it to your machine(s) naturally ❗ DO NOT force it ahead of time from or using OTHER sources❗
