    Hi, let’s start by saying I have no idea what I’m doing I’m just dedicated enough to wanting to get old photos off my laptop that was only 2 years old whose screen quit working a decade ago and I’ve been holding onto the hard drive ever since. It’s a Toshiba MK3256GSY. I have another hard drive from the laptop I got to replace the previous one that blacked out, not long afterwards. I can plug that hard drive into the adapter Unitek SATA/IDE adapter powered with an AC cord connected via USB 3.0 and it immediately populates in file explorer and shows its driver letter and partitions in disk m

    How to recover data from an old laptop hard drive

    I have a 2008 apple hard drive from an old macbook. I am trying to recover the files with my new laptop (windows 10), however the hard drive seems to be password protected. I can open the hard drive but I cannot access the folders within the ''Users''
    folder. Any suggestions?

    Recover data from a RAW partition

    I think you should mention that which file system you used. As per of my experience I suggest you Remo Recover utility to recover data from old hard drive. I think it will be helpful for you.
