Windows 10: Old Desktop Won't Turn On

I have an old 2008 HP desktop that’s been sitting unused for about 6 years. Now, when I try to power it on, nothing happens, even when plugged in. It was upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 back in the day, but I’m not sure where to start troubleshooting. I’m not familiar with computer hardware. Is there a simple way to check what's wrong? Should I start with the power supply? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

• Check and verify if Cortana is activated?
• Does Cortana search and gives any output/result on screen?
• Is the Language and region settings set to valid value?
• Check and verify if Cortana available in your region?

Method 1:

I suggest you to try to turn Cortana off and then try turning it on back and check if she talks. Refer to the steps below to turn Off and On Cortana:

• Open Cortana.
• Click the hamburger button in the top left of the window.
• Go to Settings and click on off.
• Follow the same steps to turn it on.
• Check if issue persists.
