Windows 10: Old Games Start Up - Black Screen, tries to open in between dual monitor, game crash, game...

To try to put it easily:When i try to open a game most often an old game maybe running at 32 bit with a dual monitor set-up one screen goes black as if its about to open, flickers white, nothing happens, the dual monitors flicker and every window is pulled in between both monitors, the game doesnt even start, the black screen goes away and the game does nothing and minimises itself. Trying to open the game again from the toolbar makes it happen again. The only way to get rid of the game is to force close it using CTRL+ALT+DEL.Below is a small video of what happens:https://www.dropbox.com/scl

Just purchased two Dell U2715H 27" monitors the other day and a Dell XPS8900 tower.

intel Core i7
16GB Ram
NVidia GTX 960


I am having an issue where when I launch two steam games I run into a crash. The games i'm trying to run are "Pure Pool" and "Pool Nation FX". Both games sometimes run without any issues, but occasionally when the game has ended the screen which I was gaming on will turn completely black, not even backlit, just black.

Also when I launch the games sometimes the monitor in which the game is running will be completely black, not even backlit, but i'll still be able to hear the sound.

What is really odd is that when I close the program such as the pool game, the black screen will still remain. (please note I can still use task manager on my other monitor).

Also, sometimes when I finish playing either game I won't get any black screen, but when I come to restart my computer one of my monitors will be black, not even backlit as before.

I can run DOTA 2 without any issues at all. This PC and monitors are both new purchased this week.

Hi, I have a problem with some games with my upgrade to Windows 11

Well, what happens is that when opening certain games, I get a black screen, only with some games, such as Half Life Source, Skyrim, Need for Speed Most Wanted 2021 and Need for Speed 2015

It only allows me to play the games in windowed mode, and when I put them in full screen, the monitor goes black, I go to settings, and the game has the resolution of my 1366x768 monitor, but the screen still goes black, when I was playing on Windows 10, I never had this problem, and I want to fix it, as it is very annoying for me

Dual Monitor for gaming

I just connected my Laptop to a secondary monitor. I set the secondary monitor as my main screen. However, I cant open games like Paladins ans Rainbow Six Siege after doing this. The screen simply blacks out.
