Windows 10: Old Laptop can't find new Wifi network

So in a nutshell I have an older laptop Toshiba satellite c875 running Windows 8.1. recently we got rid of Xfinity Wi-Fi because the price was outrageous. For as long as I can remember having Xfinity my laptop connected to the internet with no problem. We just purchased T-Mobile internet which works phenomenal with all my devices two phones five cameras two Google TVs it supports up to 30 some odd devices anyway everything identifies the network and connects to it with no problem except the laptop in question it CANNOT FIND THE NETWORK NEVER MIND CONNECT TO IT. Can not find my new network/wifi

I switched to a new internet provider. My laptop (Lenovo with Windows 10 Pro) is not detecting the new wifi/network.

* I tried the "trouble shooting" and "manually connect" options, but my laptop still does not detect the new wifi.

* The laptop detects my "old" wifi (I have two internet providers at this moment and plan to disconnect the "old" wifi once I have everything working.)

* My Lenovo laptop is the only device that does not detect the new wifi/network. All other devices (1 PC/desktop, 1 Mac, and 2 iPhones) detect and can connect to the new wifi/network.

* My old wifi and other networks from the neighbors are showing up on the list.

* I have restarted the modem/router, but that did not help.

Given the above, it is clear that the problem is with my laptop and not the new modem/router.

Is there anything else besides what I have already tried?

I'm online from my wifi laptop but can't connect to my home network

Nope, I've tried all the steps of all the fixes listed by Dalchina and Try3 but the problem still exists. The W10 laptop refuses to access my main W7 pc (named CG16) on my home network, although it can 'see' it, ie, it shows CG16 in the network list. The only thing I haven't tried is Dalchina's suggestion about creating a shortcut, mainly because I'm not sure where this shortcut is supposed to be. I'm assuming it has to be on the W10 laptop but I don't understand how it could work. More info please, Dalchina, if you'd be so kind. Daymin, sorry: I have no idea what you're trying to say.

 

Unable to see a specific WiFi Network in list

I have Windows 8.1. I can see the WiFi networks of everyone in the vicinity. However, am unable to see the WiFi network installed in my home.

The WiFi Network that am unable to see is a new connection. This new connection is seen by all devices (Mobiles etc) but it is.not getting displayed in my Windows 8.1 list.

I have seen other threads on the issue which recommend checking WLAN Autoconfig etc. And have tried those steps too. But there is no change in the outcome.

Can anyone please suggest any solution that migjt work. I am not willing to format my Laptop.

Any help would be deeply appreciated.
