    OLD PROBLEM: Application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware


    Ryzen3 1300x

    Asus A320 Ex-gaming

    Ram Corsair LPX 2133 Mhz 4x2Gb

    VGA Rog Strix RX570 4gb

    Xigmatek X-Power-550 80 plus 500W

    Win10 64bit 1803

    Latest Bios & driver


    I tried to set the TDR delay to 8, re-installed Win10 & AMD driver but still no hope ~~

    It crashed when i played BF1, BF4, League of legends, even Chrome too. Sometimes it happened when i just turn on PC !!!

    Warrenty check VGA ? Yeah, they said i've problem with Windows. I searched on internet, some topic said PSU can cause the issue. Please help me OLD PROBLEM: Application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware :(

    • When are you getting this?
    • Which application are you referring to?
    • Have you made any changes to the system prior to this issue?

    Thanks for the suggestion. However, from looking through the event logs I found that an Nvidia driver had been "migrated" on 7/28 - the same date as the last Windows Update install - to a old 5/17 driver. I'd installed the current Nvidia WHQL drivers around
    7/24 so it appears the rollback caused a conflict with the other up-to-date drivers. I've reinstalled the latest drivers and everything's working again. So far.
