Windows 10: Old Samsung Video Camera SC-D375 controller for Windows 10.

Hello, i'm trying to connect via USB a Samsung SC-D375 video camera to W10 build 1909. When I connect the camera, it appears inmediatly as "SAMSUNG CAMCORDER" at the device manager, but its alarmed. It says that I should install a controller. So I look for the driver from Samsung website.

I Installed it succesfully, but the camera device remains without a controller. Do anybody deal with someting like this? It related to MTP USB driver?

Samsung Mini DV SC-D6550 Camcorder Driver for Windows 10

Does anyone know if there is a driver available for Windows 10 to recognized my Samsung Mini DV SC-D6550 Camcorder?

I went to Samsung's website & downloaded the codec & driver for it but I can't get it to work on my new laptop with Windows 10

Any suggestions?

I understand that you’re unable to import photos and videos after upgrading to Windows 10.

This could be due to incorrect Auto play settings. I suggest you to follow the steps as shown below and check if it helps.

• Plug in the Camera.
• Go to Start and type AutoPlay Settings.
• Choose AutoPlay Settings.
• Under your Camera Device, choose the option "Import Photos and Videos."
• Exit Auto Play Settings and check if the issue persists.

Windows 10 update issue - camera

What is the make and model of the camera?

I would suggest you to make sure the camera is installed properly and listed under Device Manager.

Follow these steps:

• Press “Windows key + X” from keyboard.
• Select “Device Manager” option from the list.
• Check if the Camera is listed in the devices list.

If it is not listed then the Camera driver is not installed. I would suggest you to run “Hardware and Devices” troubleshooter to diagnose and fix the issue.

If the camera is listed in the device manager, then perform the following troubleshooting methods:

Method 1:

You may try running the Hardware and Device troubleshooter and check if it helps.

a. Press Windows Key +R, type Control Panel.

b. Type troubleshooting in the search bar, click on troubleshooting.

c. Click on Hardware and Sound, click on Hardware and Devices.

d. Follow the steps from the wizard to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2:

If that doesn’t work, then I would suggest you to perform troubleshooting steps from the link “What
to do if you have problems with an app” to diagnose and fix if the issue is with Camera app.

Method 3:

If this doesn’t fix the issue, I would suggest you to uninstall the camera from Device Manager then reinstall it and then check if this fixes the issue.
