Windows 10: Old windows 8.1 key -> windows 10 -> New Computer

Hello!

I bought a computer many years ago which had Windows 8.1 installed on it (this was >4 years ago). About 4 years ago, I bought a computer but I did not buy a Windows license for it, instead, I moved my 8.1 license to computer number 2. Some time later, I upgraded to Windows 10 using my 8.1 key, this worked and I had a legit version of Windows. Now, I bought a lot of part during Black Friday and replaced everything in my computer except the hard drive and the graphics card, so it's basically a new computer. I also bought a new SSD where I thought I'd install Windows. So I wiped my old Hard-Drive completely and installed Windows 10 on my new SSD. But I can't activate Windows on the new computer, I don't have my old key (I don't even know if I can use it to install Windows 10) and the computer doesn't recognise "itself" since all the parts are new. Please help me, I would rather not spend more money on a new License but I have no idea what to do! I've tried to look for a digital license but since I didn't prepare it earlier I don't have it. I can see my old computer in the list of devices connected to my Microsoft account but I can't do anything with it.

How to reinstall Windows 10 if my computers used the free upgrade from 7 and 8?

Will windows 10 still accept the license keys from 7 and 8 now if I reinstall my computer?

Does Microsoft keep a list of users who upgraded to Win 10 using their 7 and 8 keys so that when users need to reinstall windows 10 the old keys would work?

Do I need to call in Microsoft to ask them to activate my Windows 10 when I give them my win 7 keys?

Both computers are laptops. The windows 7 machine had the serial printed on the back, and I needed to enter that when I upgraded to 10. The windows 8 machine had the serial built in inside its boot system so I didn't need to enter the key when I upgraded to 10, but I did manage to write down the keys using a fetcher program.

Now that I have finally upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 10 will my Windows 8 key work with a fresh install of Windows 10?

Google and download the "Windows 10 media creation tool"

Create a USB flash drive ISO and that's all you need...it will work without needing a key..
Just skip past entering a key during full install and delete all partitions, format, create new drive and install...

As long as you have upgraded from Windows 8 first...you need to do that prior to using your Windows 8 key for 10.
