Windows 10: Older Games not working

When I uninstalled a browser~1 GB I restarted my computer and went about my day as normal. When I returned, however, my PC said I had ~80 GB free I had 20 GB free before. I noticed this effect a bit later when 3 older games around 2001-2004 ish did not launch at all. I was wondering if this had some kind of fix. It seemed very strange so I would understand if no one else was encountering the issue too. It could just be a virus but I decided to check here first. 1. Right click on the setup file and select Properties.

2. Select Compatibility tab.

Older games freezing up screen but keep playing on windows 10

Hi,

Most programs created for earlier versions of Windows will work on Windows 10. However, some older programs might run poorly or not at all. To resolve your concern, you may run the Program Compatibility Troubleshooter by following
the steps on this link to automatically detect and fix some of the most common
issues.

You may run the game in compatibility mode to make it work on your Windows 10 PC by following the steps below:

• Go to the game folder and right click on the setup file.
• Click on Properties and go to the Compatibility tab.
• Under the Compatibility mode, check Run this program in compatibility mode for: and select the operating system where the game is compatible.
• Let the drivers install and launch the game again.

We also recommend that you update your graphics card drivers. Here's how:

• Select the Start button, type Device Manager, and select it from the list of results.
• Expand one of the categories to find the name of your display adapter, then right-click (or tap and hold) it, and select Update Driver. For graphics cards, expand the Display adapters category, right-click your graphics
  card and select Update Driver.
• Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
• If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can try looking for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions.

If these steps don't work, try reinstalling the driver:
