Windows 10: Older Version of Epic Games Launcher cannot be removed

Recently I had to get a new hard drive for my computer. The issue is that I cannot install the Epic Games Launcher now because it is looking for an older version of the Epic Games Launcher screen shot below. Epic games no longer exists because it was on my hold hard drive that is no longer in my pc. I have gone back and forth with Epic Support for a week now and they have pointed me to Microsoft for help. Can anyone please help me out.

Epic Games Launcher

I got this computer from my step dad, he got it from his insurance company. When I open Epic Games launcher I can see the logo but the rest is blank. Is there a file I need to remove? I really would love any suggestions
