Windows 10: OLE DB provider for DB2 6.0 installation failure

Trying to install Microsoft OLE DB provider for DB2 on my windows 10 (x64) machine. But set up wizard is throwing me an error saying ' System is not been modified'. Any solution??

Hi there Yashwasnt! I'm a Microsoft community member here to help. If you're getting the "your system has not been modified" error message,its likely there are corrupted remnants of OLE DB still on your computer. These can keep you from properly installing
your program. You should try to find the remains of the program in your "program files" folder and delete them from there.

If it doesn't show up you can try downloading the Installer Cleanup Utility.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301/ Once downloaded and installed, run the program and try to find your program. If you see it, select it and choose "Remove". Then close the utility, and restart your system. After it's all said and done, try to install
the program as an administrator..

 

OLE DB provider "SQLNCLI11" for linked server returned message "No transaction is active.".

Dear All,

I am having serious issue with Transaction on Link Server.

As per the guide available on the internet i have followed all the process as mentioned on the link below

But I am still having the same issue. The error message that I am getting is :

OLE DB provider "SQLNCLI11" for linked server "<serverName>" returned message "No transaction is active.".

The operation could not be performed because OLE DB provider "SQLNCLI11" for linked server "<serverName>" was unable to begin a distributed transaction.

I have SQL 2012 installed on Windows server 2012 and I have SQL server 2012 installed on windows 10 from which i am connecting Link Server.

I am expecting your prompt solution so that I can continue my further development.
