Hello:I have an Olympus digital voice recorder VN-960PC. The "hold" button slides up and down on the side of this device. However, the button fell off while the device was off and in the "hold" position. As a result, the device is turned off, and I have not been able to turn it on. When I plug it into my computer, the device's screen lights up and briefly shows folder information and the battery status full, but I cannot access the files stored on the device. I have an Olympus digital voice recorder VN-960PC. The "hold" button slides up and down on the side of this device. However, the button fell off while the device was off and in the "hold" position. As a result, the device is turned off, and I have not been able to turn it on.

When I plug it into my computer, the device's screen lights up and briefly shows folder information and the battery status (full), but I cannot access the files stored on the device.

How did you copy the files from your Olympus digital recorder to your computer?

What file format are the files? Right-click one and select "Properties." What is shown for "Type of file" and "Opens with"?

I have the above digital recorder. The software worked on Windows 7. I migrated to Windows 10. Now the software does not work.

That driver was only up to Windows 2000/ XP and Vista

Any suggestions what i can do?
