Windows 10: Omen 15 2020 issue

I’ve had this omen 15 laptop for about 4 years and it worked perfectly fine for the first 3 years. Last year, marking the third year I owned it, an issue started to occur where I would be playing games and randomly experience an intense frame rate drop comparable to trying to run the game with the laptop unplugged and on battery. The issue would last between 30 seconds - 2 minutes and then my laptop would return to amazing performance. These spikes would occur once every 5-10 minutes making playing games extremely unbearable for me. This happened in every game i played but i noticed it the mos

Hp Omen 15 having issues with wifi connection. Unsure if it is an hardware issue or ISP issue.

For the past 2 months my laptop (HP Omen 15) has been having issues with wifi. No other device in the house has this issue (laptops, xbox, tv, phones) but my laptop does. My laptop is currently the closest device to the router and does say it has full bars
of connection yet it is perhaps the slowest. Often my wifi speed will slow down drastically. Other times I'll attempt to surf the web with my internet browser but many times my browser will say I'm not connected when I clearly am. This is starting to get frustrating
and I'm starting to wonder if this is truly a ISP issue or perhaps something wrong with my laptop.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!
