A few weeks ago my headset started having issues with the microphone where my voice is replaced entirely with static. Upon troubleshooting I have found that the microphone still works when plugged into other computers. On this PC however, it does not. When I open the Sound Settings to do some more trouble shooting, the app crashes BUT I learned yesterday that if I unplug the headset, the apps all Immediately stop crashing and begin working perfectly normalthis is the case with ANY audio application for example Voicemod. I have uninstalled and reinstalled all drivers, have checked for updates

GPU-Z 0.7.5 causing crashes on load up

Any chance you could narrow it down to which running application causes GPU-Z to crash? Ideally steps to reproduce for me here.

    Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue Omen Mindframe Prime USB Headset causes multiple applications to crash. :p
