The Windows 10 Pro system on my old C:\ drive is corrupt. I installed that drive in the new machine and File Explorer sees all the files. Since Windows on that old drive is corrupt, I cannot boot on that old drive and I cannot create an image or backup.I have many applications I need to retrieve from that old drive for which I no longer have the product key. Just copying the files to the boot drive of my new computer will not work.1 Is there a way to move the applications on the old drive to the new boot drive so they can work ?2 Is it possible to recover the Windows 10 system on my old dri

Transfer Windows 11 pro OS from SSD to PCIe SSD

Is there a Microsoft application that allows us to transfer Windows 11 Pro from SSD to PCIe SSD without losing the license?

 

Possible to transfer over Windows 11 Pro licence from dead laptop to new laptop?

My old laptop which was running Windows 11 Home originally out of the box, which then I upgraded to Windows 11 Pro through the $99 Microsoft Store upgrade has died and will not turn on again. I am getting a new laptop with Windows 11 Home on it, but I still want a Windows 11 Pro licence on it. Is it possible to transfer the licence? I don't want to spend another $99 to upgrade my new laptop to Pro. I am willing to take out the SSD if needed to retreive the product key/licence. Does anyone have more detailed steps on how to transfer over the licence if it is possible?

Transfer Windows 11 Pro License from one computer to a new computer with Windows 11 Home

I have a Dell XPS 13 with Windows 11 Pro. This computer was upgraded from Windows 10 Pro. The License is a digital license (and NOT linked to any Microsoft account) and "slmgr /dvl" says Product Key Channel: Retail. The hardware is failing on the XPS, so I ordered an Asus Zenbook 14 Flip with Windows 11 Home installed. The Asus laptop has a 1Tb drive and I am going to be upgrading the drive to 4Tb. I will be reinstalling Windows 11 on the new drive. My end goal is to have Windows 11 Pro activated on the Asus w/ the 4Tb SSD.

Is there a way to transfer my Windows 11 Pro license from the Dell XPS to the new install on the Asus? Or do I need to activate the Windows 11 Home and upgrade to Pro from the Microsoft store?
