Windows 10: On a Win10 system, certain DirectX run-time versions are not present and cannot be installed

When running some DIrectX12 -capable programs:E.g. XAPOFX1_5.dll and D3DCOMPILER_43.dll. Neither x86-64 System32 folder or x86-32 SysWOW64 folder.Unironically, original XAPOFX1_4.dll and D3DCOMPILER_47.dll from latest DirectX update are there.All drivers and OS are up-to-date, the dance with sfc/dism and update cache clearing are done without any changes.I checked few other systems, ones I own, and situation there is same except for one - an air-gapped Enterprise workstation with VS2022 installed. There those files are present. Are they SDK-only and its developers fault they didn't incl

First, I would suggest you to check that which version of Direct X is currently installed on your computer.

To use the DirectX Diagnostic Tool to determine the version of DirectX that is installed on your computer, follow these steps:

• Click Start, and then click Run.
• Type dxdiag, and then click OK.
• On the System tab, note the version of DirectX that is displayed on the DirectX Version line.
• On the various tabs, check the version information for each DirectX file.
• When you are finished checking file versions, click Exit.

If Windows cannot find the dxdiag program, DirectX installed on your computer. If this is the case, download and install the latest version of DirectX.
