Windows 10: On and off internet connection

I have an Asus gaming laptop that i just recently reset to factory mode. Its using Windows 10. A couple days after the reset my internet connection has been on and off. Ive tried many things to fix it thinking i might’ve done something to it when i did the reset. Everything i’ve tried so far hasn’t worked. I also considered it to be my router/modem but not sure if it is. Its a brand new laptop. I just got it 3 months ago so i don’t understand why it just all of a sudden isn’t connecting to the internet. Is it possible i broke it when i did the reset? Any help is greatly appretiated. Thanks in advance.

Try the following steps:

  Click "Search" and type "Troubleshooting" without quotes and hit enter.

  Click “View All”

  Select "Internet Explorer connection"
  
•

HTC 7 Mozart mobile not connecting to internet

If you cannot connect to Wi-Fi or use the Mobile Data on your HTC 7 Mozart device, we suggest that you follow the steps given on
Lumia troubleshooting and repair. After each step, check to see if your issue has been fixed.

• For issues connecting to Wi-Fi networks, select Connectivity > My phone has problems connecting to Wi-Fi networks, then follow the suggested steps provided.

• And for issues connecting to the internet using a mobile data connection, select
  Connectivity > I cannot connect to the internet using a mobile data connection. Make sure to select the next options given if the problem persists.
