On every app like steam or any platform for video streaming and any videos i have white screen. it doesn`t appear on videos when i watch on youtube but when i watch on steamapp or some videos on sites like movies and series and sometimes on twitch it does.how i can fix that?

Video streaming failed with unsupported video type error

Hi,
I was able to resolve the issue by disabling all hardware enhancements for Conexant Smartaudio HD. Here are the steps I took to resolve it, in case someone else runs into the same frustrating problem as I did: Right click on the speaker icon on the lower right hand corner -> Playback Devices -> Disable all hardware enhancements -> OK -> Reboot. That's it!

 

Video and Stream App

What exactly is the difference between the Video App and the Stream App? What is the purpose of the Stream App?

Initially, very naïve of me, I thought the "Stream App" had something to do with Live Streaming Video. But I see no major difference with the Video App.
