Windows 10: On Hover Widget Board gets stuck on Desktop

On a brand new Lenovo Thinkpad L16 I experience, when the Widget Board is in Hover Mode it gets stuck on the Desktop. I have to click more than once to make it disappear. I like the Hover Mode, but must keep the Hover Mode disabled to launch and close the Widget Board manually.I run Windows 11, version 24h2, fully updated. Everything else works just fine.PS. We have two slightly older Laptops in our family. Another Lenovo Thinkpad and a Dell Latitude. Both running version 23h2. The Widget Board works just fine here.....I need help to get this annoying issue solved. Hope to hear from you soon.

Remove News from widgets board.

The News/Interests section is a feature in Windows 11 that displays news and other information on your Widgets Board. It appears as a section with a news feed and a weather widget, located at the bottom of the Widgets Board, as shown below:

If you don't see this section on your Widgets Board, it may not be enabled yet. To enable it, click on the Widgets button on your taskbar, and if you see a prompt to turn on News/Interests, click "Yes" to enable it.

If you've already enabled News/Interests and want to remove the news feed from your Widgets Board, you can follow the steps I provided earlier. Here they are again, with some screenshots to help:

Windows 11 weather widget hover

Hi Emy, I am Paulo and I'd like to help.

Unfortunately, there's no way to disable hovering on the widget icon for now. The only way to avoid the icon from popping up is to center the taskbar so the Weather widget will stay on the left corner of the taskbar.

But, I would suggest you upvote this feedback as this was already reported in the Feedback Hub app.
