network id and doman change option hide

    Hi,

A domain-based network gives a network administrator a way to manage an entire network or server.

For us to better assist you, please answer the following questions:

    • Are you logged in as an administrator?
    • When you say "domain option is hidden", does that mean that the
      Join a domain
option is hidden or the domain name cannot be found?

In the meantime, as an initial troubleshooting, we suggest following the troubleshooting steps provided on this

    thread
which were found helpful in resolving the issue.

We'll keep an eye out for your response.

    microsoft hosted network virtual adapter

I'm having the same issue. I uninstalled the Hosted Network Virtual Adapter hoping that it would fix a problem I was having, and it removed it entirely from my device list.

I've read through Sayan_Ghosh's post and is not helpful since there is no "Network Adapter" to right click on. It also doesn't seem like it would be listed in Other Devices since it's not an actual piece of hardware. Unless I'm missing something, I don't
think this is the solution to the problem that the several people on this feed are talking about.

I'm not that tech savy, but it seems that the virtual adapter needs to be reinstalled completely. Is there a download for that or a process to add virtual devices back in to the list?

Any help would be appreciated! This function comes in very handy at work.
