    Family Tree Maker 2012 can't open FTW files created in Family Tree Maker 2006

    Hi,

    This is a Family Tree Maker issue, not a Windows 10 issue.

    See if this article helps:

    (The article suggests that FTM2012 should be able to open files from FTM06

    Exporting/importing a GED file might work.
