    On new tab - want to see a blank tab.

    After the recent cumulative updates my edge browser does not allow me to open to a simple blank page. I had to create a 'about:blank' specific page to open to.



    Specific page - about:blank

    And then I found when open a new tab it opens to MS new tab withe image, feed, links etc. I prefer a blank tab instead. This is annoying !!! I finally had to remove image of the day, quick links, content off etc to get to this plain page. Is there a better way ?

    The last thing I want when I open multiple tabs is a constant repetition of 'image of the day' or 'content links' etc.

    Blank page tabs

    When I click on a URL I receive a blank page tab. I have to open in a new tab to access the site. Is there a way to connect by just clicking on the url? I'm using Windows 10 anniversary update version with Edge.

    Ya or lets say i do a right click and i can either do open in new window or open in new tab a new window never pops up and for open in a new tab, a new tab pops up but is blank.

    Edit: This is for a link for example.

    Command line/tab

    QUESTION/suggestion:
    * Why not remember the last active tab?
    For example, if you are on tab 2 and close the program, then run it again, for the program to open tab 2 again. But if the -tab X command-line option is used, then the program goes to X tab, regardless of last active tab.

    Does that make sense?
