Windows 10: On pc I have my photos from my camera and photos off my wife's phone I want to put them in...

On my pc I have the photos off my camera and my wife's phone I am trying to put them into order but win 10 won't let me keeps numbering them so I can't organise them in the correct order. There .must be a simple way please help

is there a way to get my phone photos to show last one taken the first one to show? when i just go to the folders and click my phone it opens with the last photo at the top, but when i am sending an email and i go to upload a photo the photos show up in reverse order, so i have to scroll to the bottom to get the last photo taken.

most of the time itis the last photo taken that your need to send out in an email. i try properties but i do not see a way to rearrange them. even if i try to upload a photo from this site it does the same thing i click insert image then i click from computer then browse then the folders show up and i click on my phone and then internal storage and then dcim and camera and they start showing up, but in reverse order as i took them so i have to scroll all the way down to get the last photo.

so how can i make this so the last one taken is on the top of that list? thanks

 

Photo import from Nikon D3300 scan disk finding entire PC photo collection instead of only the photos on the disk.

Since this is my wife's computer she believes this started happening last summer and she is just now telling me about it. So far I have tried:

• Deleting all but one picture on the scan disk while in the camera to ensure the photo library wasn't being transferred from the PC to the disk. I encountered the same problem on the PC. I then put the disk back into the camera and verified there was still
  only one picture on the disk.
• I attached my iphone and the pictures on my phone import just fine without adding in the PC's photo library.
• As you suggested I performed a clean boot and still have the same problem while in that mode.

 

iPhone Photos import to Windows 10 PC not working

I would like to troubleshoot my inability to import photos from iPhone to Windows 10. I am an advanced user struggling to find relevant help on the internet since most results are unusable masked adverts for paid third party software.

I want to use it the following way

1. connect iPhone via USB to my Windows 10 PC
   
2. open Microsoft "Photos" app
   
3. click in the upper right on import > add from the device over USB
   
4. select all photos and click import
   

4th step is where it fails, with no usable message.

• I have set the device as trusted on iPhone
  
• I mostly don't see it in My Computer, therefore I cannot just copy
  
• I tried uninstalling every driver and iTunes software
  
• Despite not being visible in Windows Explorer, iTunes can always access the contents with no issue
  
• it has a tiny moments when it starts working, but overall import fails sooner or later and never copies all 3k photos. Mostly MSPhotos don't show any content, just failure message, sometimes it shows it's content and acts as I can select what to import, but as described fails sooner or later
  
• iTunes can successfully copy entire phone.
  
  Other attempts
  
• I tried multiple free 3rd party SW, all of them either failed or seemed like to be usable only after buying their extended version
  
• I tried using iTunes for Syncing the Photos
  
  • I maybe don't know how to use it, or it is faulty too. But I've set the directory where my Photos should be synced, but sync seems to just backup the phone and creates tiny 'Photo Database file', but no photo actually gets copied onto PC.
