    On-Screen Keyboard constantly appears whenever going full-screen?


    Hello,Whenever I open a full-screen application on my PC, the On-Screen Keyboard appears no matter what.I have turned off On-Screen Keyboard within the Ease of Access settings and disabled the Touch Keyboard within Services, however, the On-Screen Keyboard still appears without fail. Would anyone know how to fix this? Would it be possible to just remove the On-Screen Keyboard software from my OS/System entirely? I really do not use it for anything at all. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.I am running Windows 10, Version 21H2.I’ve also checked through the the Task Manager's Start Up tab

    On screen Keyboard

    Hi,



    To quickly access the On-screen Keyboard (OSK) without going to Settings, follow the steps below:



    • Right-click on the taskbar.
    • Make sure that the "Show touch keyboard button" is enabled.
    • Touch keyboard icon will appear on the notification area.
    • Click on it to launch the On-Screen Keyboard.

    Touch screens

    I can do 60 words per minute on my phone, perhaps more now as I've got used to the phone. ( htc desire z, using the stock onscreen keyboard)

    Touch screen + predictive text I recon I could equal my keyboard typing speed. Maybe beat it depending on how advance the predictions are.

    ( hard to use predictive software on traditional keyboards as there is no way to quickly choose the suggested word, where as touch screen keyboards can have the suggested words appear above the function keys)

    • Is your physical keyboard not functioning?
    • Have you tried turning off the On-Screen Keyboard?

    To turn off the On-Screen Keyboard, kindly follow the steps below:

    • Click on Start.
    • Go to Settings.
    • Select Ease of Access.
    • On the left panel, click on Keyboard.
    • Under On-Screen Keyboard, make sure it is set to Off.
