    On Win 11, I view photo with default app, windows photo viewer, Windows photo viewer displays photo type with a Chinese word, not jpg. Of course if I set other photo view app as default, then photo type will be "jpg", but if set to windows photo viewer, photo type will be "“ a Chinese word.Please check attached photo.My question is that how to chang windows photo viewer's photo type name from "“ to "jpg".Thank you

    Replacement for photo viewer

    I just use the Photos app for a quick view, otherwise I use Adobe Lightroom to view and edit photos.

    Just do not like this "new" photo viewer, it is just cumbersome to operate, lot of extra steps etc. I like the older Win photo viewer, however since JPG files are saved as "unhandled Extension handler finder", *Confused I need something else. Appreciate any suggestions that is not overly optioned, just a simple viewer. Tx

    If you mean the Photos app, then no, I don't like it much either. But the old Windows Photo Viewer that's been around since Windows 7 is still available in Windows 10. Here they are side by side.
