Windows 10: On Windows 7, when upgrading to Windows 10 using the iso download from MS website, does one...

I'm trying to find out if the activation requires a purchased license from a retailer, or a volume license, or is the upgrade from Windows 7 now expired to Windows 10 a gratis upgrade. If allowed, how does one do it on a standalone computer which can never been hooked to the internet?

U can't use Rufus to download Windows 7 *Roll :roll: there was a Media Creator Tool out for it, but it's not anymore u need a legal key to be able to download Win7.

I just use Rufus to throw my windows ISOs on flash-sticks For some reason the official MS tool doesn't like the ISOs I have.
