Windows 10: Once I download software & updates online is it ok to delete the exe files in my PC downloads

I've currently let all my download exe files especially updates accumulate in my download section taking up space. Other than possibly the most recent exe files, should I delete all the rest from my PC? Thanks

 

Error with downloaded file

OK downloading the zip file from realtek at 15kb/s. I have 1MBit connection so this is about 8 times slower

Update: And now at 10x slower. Shit this is so annoying

unable to download and run .exe files

I tried to download and run .exe file but I am not able to run . I tried in private mode for edge browser. then also I am getting error. after downloading the .exe file it shows, the file may be moved or deleted. in private mode,i tried to run the file,
but it shows file not found.

please provide me troubleshooting steps for me,its vwery important for me.
