Windows 10: Once I get on Microsoft Edge and and search bar comes up on home page I search and then...

Since updating when I am on Microsoft Edge and it brings me to the home page, then I type in search bar to where I need to go and it takes me to that page then once I click a link off of that page it says the name of the page I am on and { is unreachable}. Underneath is ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE. No matter where I search or page it still says this. Please someone help!Thanks,Neile

Thanks for the suggestion. I had already seen those tutorials, but I wanted to try the key combination I saw first, to see if it showed up again.

In this case, I refer to the search bar of Microsoft Edge, not the native Windows, that if it appears to me. I also thank you for your help.

have you tried the following procedure to reset the default search engine back to Bing?

In Microsoft Edge , go to the website of the search engine you want. Make sure that the search engine home page you want is showing in Microsoft Edge and the address (https://www.bing.com, for example) is showing
in the address bar.

Select Settings and more > Settings > Advanced.

Scroll down to Address bar search, and select Change search provider.

Select your preferred search engine in the list, and then select Set as default.
