Windows 10: One Dell laptop with 2 Designer Compact Keyboards -paired but not connected

Discus and support One Dell laptop with 2 Designer Compact Keyboards -paired but not connected in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I've been using the Designer Compact Keyboard in my home office for a couple of years.     One Dell laptop with 2 Designer Compact Keyboards -paired but not connected


    I've been using the Designer Compact Keyboard in my home office for a couple of years. I like it so much that I decided to get one at work as well. Since getting the second one, I've been having connection problems. Windows 11 tells me that the device is paired but not connected at both locations. What's weird is that Windows Settings Devices shows only one device, like it sees the 2 keyboards as the same one. That would be fine if it worked. However, when I go home I have to remove the keyboard device and pair it again to get it to work. And then go through the same process when I go to work

    Bluetooth connection problem with Microsoft Designer Compact Keyboard

    I recently bought the Microsoft Designer Compact Keyboard, it pairs to my Win10 laptop but doesn't connect and doesn't work. Unpairing, re-pairing, updating all the drivers, and restarting BT services didn't solve the problem. The keyboard connects and works fine with other laptops, other BT devices connect and work properly with my laptop.

    Microsoft designer compact keyboard no connected

    I have Designer Compact Keyboard which works fine on Linux system on the same machine. However, on windows 11 it pairs and works fine the first time but when doing system reboot, it just pairs but doesn't connect. I also have Microsoft ergonomic mouse which works fine after reboot. I looked around and tried multiple solutions but with no luck. Now, when I go to settings>Bluetooth & devices> Designer Compact Keyboard it says Paired only.

    Designer Compact Keyboard won't connect

    I have Dell XPS 13 running Windows 10.

    I've used my Microsoft Designer Compact Keyboard with it for monthson Channel 2.

    Today I added the keyboard to a new laptop via Channel 3 which worked.

    I went back to my Dell, changed the keyboard back to Channel 2 and it didn't work.

    I removed the device from Windows settings, and went to readd it on Channel 2, but when I search for a new Bluetooth device, it doesn't appear. Even though the Bluetooth light flashes on 2.

    How do I get it working?
