Windows 10: One drive account is locked

Hi there,


I am on day 3 waiting for Microsoft Support to unlock my account.


The system message said it will auto-unlock after 24 hours but not working. Already more than 24 hours and yet, still I am not able to login to my personal One Drive and I need to use it daily.


I was just backup my personal photo by clicking the sync to my personal One Drive account. And, it was locked after that. I am very disappointed, worried, and stressed if this happened again and nobody from Microsoft could able to help me just to unlock and, I have to wait for so long. Paid for years and I got such a service.


Already email the support and not really fixing my issue, asked me to submit the request form which I had already done previously.


Please share with me if you have any ideas.

Hard drive/ OS issue

a guy suggested :

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

Locked Out of Admin Account

1. Are you using a Microsoft account or a local account?
   
2. Which version of Windows 10 you are using currently?
   
3. Is the other user account an admin account?
   

I suggest you to try using the on screen keyboard at the login page and check if you are able to login to the PC.

1. At the login screen click on the
   ease of access icon at the bottom right hand corner.
   
2. Click on the on screen keyboard to open it.
   
3. Type the password and try to login.
   

If you are using a Microsoft account, I suggest you to refer the article on

how to reset your Microsoft account password.



However, if you are using a local account, then I suggest you to refer the article on

reset your Windows 10 local account password.



Note: While performing these steps, there might be a risk of data loss. You may take a backup of the data before performing the steps.
