Windows 10: One drive causing issues with game files

Anyway, the problem is wrt trying to sync the contents of this PC with onedrive, which I usually have "turned off" from my account. It creates a mess with one of the games I play, where some of the folders are duplicated on the one drive. For some reason, once this happens, the game starts to try and access some of the folders on the onedrive instead of the ones installed locally on the computer, which creates inconsistencies and really bogs the games down these are memory intensive games. I had to go in and delete the duplicate folders from the one drive folder, disable syncing, and turn of

Optical Drive Issue

Appreciate your detailed return. Your added steps really helped.

Assuming I did the steps correctly, this is where I am now.

Screenshot 12 shows my CD Disc shortcut on my desktop.
Screenshot 10 shows the CD Drive shortcut listed in the “Send to” listing.
Screenshot 11 shows the “Send to” listing after the steps were taken, but the CD drive name is not listed.

So, it appears the steps did not work for me. And, I did try the steps, “If it still won’t do ……” and still no luck.

What do you think?

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

Steps to confirm issue:

• Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
• Secondary drive not visible in device manager
• Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

Steps to replicate issue:

• Installing 1909 update

Steps to resolve issue:

• Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.
