Windows 10: One drive desktop icons not working on both machines

I have set up a new machine and loaded the desktop on there, the old laptop will still be in use. The problem I am encountering is that the old machine's icons for web pages have been changed to reflect the web site icon. Say for reddit instead of a chrome icon it has the icon for the orange Snoo chat bubble. When I try to get that icon onto the new laptop it turns the old laptop link into a blank white icon, so I am in a round and round fight trying to get both machines to use the right icon. any thoughts on how this can be fixed?I have searched with no luck on how to resolve this issue. the

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

If you're having challenges finding the IconCache file, you have to make sure that your hidden items are visible. Below are the steps:

• Type hidden in Cortana, the Windows search bar or your task bar.
• Select Show hidden files and folders from the result.
• Go to View tab.
• Enable the Show hidden files, folders, and drives.
• Hit Apply, then click OK.
